You've all probably heard of the myth of Sisyphus. He was an ancient Greek king condemned to roll a boulder up a hill for all of eternity. Every time he'd near the top, it would just roll back down, and he'd have to start all over. Parenting can feel a lot like that. You conquer a diaper blowout, and then twenty minutes later, you're back on wipe duty for round two! You painstakingly pick up every Lego in the living room, and then when you turn around, it's a minefield again. You remind your kid every night to brush your teeth, and the one time they actually do it unprompted feels like a literal miracle… until you're right back to having to remind them again the next evening. 

Raising kids can often feel like an endless loop of the same tasks, tantrums, and tiny victories. All you can really do is hope that your lessons eventually stick after all of the repetitive routines. But still, even through the chaos, there is plenty to laugh about.
